Calligraphy is the art of beautiful handwriting. Have you ever wondered how to create this expressive art form? Now is your chance to learn with John Whitacre at the Branch Library on Monday, June 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Whitacre will demonstrate the basics of calligraphy and work with the participants. He will show how to hold the pen, what paper and ink to use, and types of pens. This is a free event. Supplies will be provided at the class. Registration is required as the class size is limited.
