Event Description:
Kiwanis Club is challenging local area clubs and organizations to a food pantry donation challenge. A challenge has been issued to the Lions Club, Rotary, Women’s Division of the Chamber of Commerce, and Quota Club to see which club can bring in the most items benefiting the Alliance Food Pantry. Winner gets bragging rights for 2020!!
Items are to be brought to the Alliance Food Pantry on Thursday, September 24th between 5:00 – 7:00pm to be weighed. Only stipulation is the food pantry weigh no more than 2 cases of bottle water. Although, we will accept all that you bring in, the needs of the community pantry go beyond just bottled water!
The Alliance Food Pantry will have volunteers available to make the donations ‘contactless’. If you would like to, you can take your donations to the Alliance Food Pantry before Thursday, September 24th, the pantry will accept donations and keep track of the club that is being represented.
