Event Description:
Emily Edwards, a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse from the Alliance City Health Department, will present a "Safe Sleeping Practices for Infants" program on Monday, October 24, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. Topics such as what constitutes a safe sleep environment will be discussed - how to position your baby for sleep, what baby should wear for sleeping, where a baby should and should not sleep, and safety in the crib. Edwards will also talk about risk factors for SIDS. She will give information on what services are available locally, including contact information. Information handouts will also be available.
