Event Description:

Teens, ages 12-18, are invited for an afternoon of crafts, snacks, and fun as we celebrate Star Wars fandom in Rodman Main Auditorium on Wednesday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. Create “May the 4th Be With You” cards or a “Star Wars crayon Death Star”. Make a Chewbacca bookmark and a Star Wars popsicle stick ornament. The final craft of the day will be turning pretzel rods into light sabers by dipping pretzels into liquid chocolate and adding embellishments. While the crafting is happening, the movie Star Wars: Episode IV will also be playing. Participants may wear a costume, if desired, and have their photograph taken to be placed into a Star Wars background. This event is free and no registration is needed.
